South East Asia – Five New Piracy Incidents
There have been 5 new piracy incidents in the South East Asia region. The incidents were reported to ReCAAP ISC in Singapore between 21 November and 27 November 2017, and include armed robbery and hijacking.
The incidents occurred as per the below map:

Members are reminded of the importance of a comprehensive voyage risk assessment, vessel hardening procedures and heightened vigilance when operating in high risk areas.
